THE DC INVESTMENT FORUM ANNOUNCES NEW CHAIR AND VICE CHAIR

Jan 21, 2019 | News

The DC Investment Forum (DCIF) today announces its chair and vice chair for 2019, following a vote at the forum’s Annual General Meeting in November 2018.
Vivek Roy remains the forum’s chair, having stepped in early in the autumn of 2018 after prior chair Annabel Tonry took maternity leave. He leads AXA Investment Managers’ global pensions business development projects.

Hilary Inglis is the DCIF’s new vice chair. Hilary is a senior relationship manager for First State Investments’ institutional clients and brings to the role several years’ experience of the Australian Superannuation system.

Both Vivek and Hilary have long been involved with the DCIF and have provided invaluable input into its research projects, on subjects ranging from CDC and responsible investment to master trusts.

The DCIF is a not-for-profit research collective which comprises investment managers who are committed to promoting investment excellence in DC. Roy and Inglis will oversee the forum’s strategic direction and research projects for 2019, and both will become members of the board.

Vivek said: “I am very much looking forward to taking the DCIF forward in 2019. The forum is set for another busy year, with reports on the gender pensions pay gap and decumulation in the pipeline, amongst other projects. We are looking forward to continuing to engage with, and educate, pension scheme decision-makers on all aspects of investment.”

Hilary added: “I am thrilled to be the DCIF’s new vice chair. As more and more members rely on their DC savings for retirement, ensuring investment strategies align to members’ retirement outcomes is critical. We look forward to helping to set the DC agenda, in close collaboration with pension schemes and policymakers.”
